USDA announces additional food purchase program

Secretary of the U.S. Department of agriculture Sonny Perdue announced details of food purchases in the third quarter of fiscal year 2020 on Monday (May 4) and promised to buy 32 products to provide more support to producers and communities in need due to the impact of the epidemic.
